Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous individual to join our team as a Restaurant Cleaner. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our restaurant, ensuring a safe and inviting environment for our guests. This position is vital to the overall success and reputation of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and wiping down surfaces to ensure all areas of the restaurant are clean and free from debris and spills.

  2. Restroom Maintenance: Ensure that restrooms are kept clean, stocked with necessary supplies, and sanitized to meet health and safety standards.

  3. Dishwashing: Wash, dry, and put away dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.

  4. Trash Disposal: Collect and dispose of trash from all areas of the restaurant, following proper waste disposal procedures.

  5. Window and Glass Cleaning: Clean and glass surfaces to maintain transparency and appearance.
  6. Kitchen Support: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, including washing pots, pans, and kitchen utensils, as well as maintaining kitchen storage areas.

  7. Stocking and Replenishment: Keep cleaning and sanitation supplies well-stocked and report any inventory shortages to the management.

  8. Compliance: Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines and comply with restaurant policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

  9. Special Projects: Assist in special cleaning projects and deep-cleaning tasks as assigned by the management.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in cleaning and maintenance preferred but not required.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and their appropriate usage.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety standards.

Working Conditions:

  • This role may require working during non-business hours, such as early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment, with appropriate safety measures and training provided.
